Hello, My name is Jennifer. I have been an animal lover all of my life. We have dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. Oh yea, a wonderful husband and two great kids. I have created this site to share my love for animals with others. I think everyone should be able to experience the joy of having pets around. There are many things that you will never enjoy without a loving animal to share your life with.

For example, when your children have gone away to camp and your husband was called away to a job. Many will sit in a quiet house with no one to talk to or nothing to do. If you have a furry dog or cat then you will always have someone to sit with you, give you slobbery kisses when you are the loneliest.  If you suffer from depression animals are a great way to keep you going and give you something to be proud of. There is no better feeling than having the rooster crowing in the morning to remind you that you need to get up soon and tend to the chickens. As you go out to feed they will all come running ready for today's meal, they make you feel appreciated and loved. If they become ill you will spend countless hours researching and giving them the best care you can to make them better.  When they are better you have the satisfaction of knowing you saved that sweet baby's life. Also, the neighbors will love when you come around because you will always carry with you a free dozen of eggs for those you know love to have a taste from the past. If you suffer from lack of motivation, you can get a milking goat or two. If you are late for feeding/milking they will holler and cry for you to come to relieve them. After you go out and help your little girl out she will show you her appreciation by rubbing and kissing you. Sharing all of her goat smell. As she shows her appreciation you will in turn thank her for all of the wonderful milk she has shared with you. The milk that will help you and your family to be healthier and happier.

There are endless examples of the joy that animals can bring you. These are only a few things that I love about raising animals. They are so much comfort for me and my family. We could not imagine a home without them. They have so much love to share and they teach us so much.
